Train services delayed due to the extreme weather in Hebei province resumed on Sunday morning in the Beijing West Railway station, sources from the station said.


Services on the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed network were postponed or canceled on Saturday morning after power system failure because of gales in Dingzhou city of Hebei province.



Passengers spent hours fogbound in Beijing West Railway station on Saturday and some returned their tickets.


At least 11 people were killed and 102 injured in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Saturday when hail and thunderstorm hit the area.
