Couples from around the world put on a defiant display as they steam ahead with their wedding plans - amid the coronavirus epidemic.  


We know only too well that weddings can take months and even years of hard work to organise, not to mention a huge chunk out of the annual cheque.


Not wanting to throw it all away, a series of snaps shared to social media show a handful of brides and grooms who have decided to still go ahead with their big day.


Donning protective face masks in a bid to put safety first, these photos, from the likes of China, Italy and America, prove that amongst the tragedy going on across the globe, there are also reasons to celebrate.
