Clear Communication

The foundation of relationships is where you can communicate very clearly with one another. Very often we forget to communicate things. We don't communicate how we feel. We don't communicate the stress we're experiencing.

If you can actually communicate with your partner, say I'm feeling this, this is what I'm doing later on, and you share those details, you'll have such a better relationship. If you're not yet, make sure to communicate as much as you can with your partner so they genuinely know that you're in their life. My partner loves it when I share all the details. So that's something that I really focus on.

TWO

 Be Careful Of Expectations

You want to trade your expectations for appreciation. How often do you expect them to do something? You expect them to be a certain way. You expect them to make you food, to do your laundry, to drop the kids off... I'm not sure what it is but trade your expectations for appreciation and your relationship will skyrocket to a new level.

THREE

Prioritize One Another

If your partner believes that there is something else that is more important than them, the relationship will start to break down. If you prioritize the kids over your partner, if you prioritize all the different other members of your family over your partner, but obviously there are times to, but if it's on a consistent basis, if you choose work over your partner, I'm telling you now the relationship will start to break down. So you need to think that this is my priority and this is the person that I'm going to meet their needs at the highest levels and love them as fully as I possibly can.

FOUR

Love Them The Way They Want

So instead of you giving all this love, and I hear people say, I gave them everything. You gave them everything except what they really need. So what I mean by this, is figure out, is it love in regards to food? Do they fill up when you give them food? Is it an act of service when you do things for them? Is it you actually just spending quality time with them? Is it physical touch? Look into the six expressions of love if you haven't already and it'll give you a guideline on how best you can really learn to love your partner.

The last thing I want to say is that there is no honeymoon effect in relationships. It's not, oh it's great, and then it dwindles down. If you do what you did at the beginning of the relationship, at the end, you will have a sensational relationship moving forward.

So with that said, I hope you enjoyed the video. Comment if you've got any questions and I look forward to seeing you in the next one. Have an outstanding day and create the relationship of your dreams.
